Diwali Mela

The festival of Diwali signifies the victory of light over darkness, virtue over vice and hope over despair. To reinforce bonding with cultural roots and acquainting children to the rich Indian culture and heritage, RPS International School, Sector 50 Gurugram organized a Diwali Mela  on 3rd Nov, 2019 in the school premises.

The day begun with several interschool competitions in Toran making, Drawing, Rangoli and Dance. Stalls of Indian handicrafts/ethnic wears, painted diyas, hangings and decors were also set up to let people go on a little shopping spree. There were various games and activities (Coin in the bucket, brinjal in the bucket,basketball game,Tambola, Mehandi, Bouncy and other rides,  etc) which attracted the attention of students and their parents. Eatables of all sorts were also a part of the mela and were relished by one and all.
          The atmosphere was filled with joy and festivity.
