THEME: TRIBAL ARTISTRY
TOPIC: TRIBAL DANCES OF AUSTRALIA AND INDIA
The Month of April has witnessed the whole school immersed in the cultural bonanza of Tribal Artistry Of India and Australia .
AS a part of the ISA Project under the aegis of the British Council, the students from classes sixth to eighth showcased the tribal dances of both the countries in a special assembly . A student of class 7th shared the real miracle of aboriginal dances... and their ceremonial importance. Students performed scintillating primitive dance forms. They wore black dresses and tribal headgears to give a real effect of the conventional rhythm. The Australian indigenous dance was an imitation of a particular animal in the process of telling a story whereas Naga Tribal dance was performed onstage .
The ritual performances gave every one an understanding of sacred ceremonial traditions of said countries, Dances vary, but there is a real thread of similarity which runs through tribal dances the world over.

Special Assembly about World Nature Conservation Day by the students of class V A1

Another morning with a great start!!! Today’s morning assembly was presented by the students of class V A1 on the theme ‘Nature Conservation’ They educated all present in the assembly about World Nature Conservation Day which is on 28th July, through a very interesting musical skit displaying the importance of ‘to save water and other natural resources’. A vibrant dance by the young learner’s further highlighted the importance of saving nature and saying No to Plastic .This platform was also used to declare the results of English Elocution Competition of classes III to V. Certificates were awarded to the students by the Headmistress of the school. It was an enjoyable and informative assembly.

Visit to National Science Centre As its rightly said that, "Science is simply a method of organizing our curiosity." Grade 4 students visited the National Science Centre, Delhi. The children were taken on a tour of different galleries which depicted various facets of science in an innovative manner. The visit proved to be a great way to arouse curiosity in the young minds and provided a whole new world of wonder and amazement with interactive hands on exhibits. It was indeed an enjoyable and exhilerating experience for the learners!
