12th position in the Commonwealth Chess Championship
Kashish, an RPS prodigy from class XI (Commerce) has a vision
and complement it with planning and hard work. Apart from academics, she plays
Chess. It helps her in focussing and developing creativity. Playing chess
builds her confidence and learn how to remain calm under pressure. Recently, Kashish
did us proud by securing 12th position in the merit list while rubbing
shoulders with 500 strong players in the Commonwealth Chess Championship that
was held in Delhi from 30th, June to
7th, July, 2019 at Leela Convention Hotel. She was also selected for
the Asian Level.
She also, secured 5th position with a cash prize of ₹5100 in open smart girls Chess tournament among 250 players all over India.
Kashish won State Chess Championship, Panchkula and was awarded a Bronze medal along with certificate. She got selected for the National Chess Championship.
