CELEBRATING EARTH DAY FOR GENERATING ECOLOGICAL AWARENESS
“BIO DIVERSITY IS THE KEY, SO WE ALL CAN LIVE IN GLEE”

“Clean and Green is our cherished dream.”  Earth Day is the largest celebrated international event to highlight earth’s unique place in the universe. Students at RPS Sector – 50, Gurugram celebrated this day with great enthusiasm. A special assembly was organised in school on the theme. Children of class Nursery – VIII undertook germination of seeds and potatoes, planted saplings and more beautiful posters depicting various ways to save flora and fauna of our planet. They also learned that trees not only provide necessities such as shelter, medicines but have furnished us with two life’s essentials, food and oxygen. The role of trees in combating the greenhouse effect on our planet was also discussed with children. The event was a success as the students enjoyed activities and learnt wholeheartedly the need of the hour to save earth.

Another morning with a great start!!! Today’s morning assembly was presented by the students of class V A1 on the theme ‘Nature Conservation’ They educated all present in the assembly about World Nature Conservation Day which is on 28th July, through a very interesting musical skit displaying the importance of ‘to save water and other natural resources’. A vibrant dance by the young learner’s further highlighted the importance of saving nature and saying No to Plastic .This platform was also used to declare the results of English Elocution Competition of classes III to V. Certificates were awarded to the students by the Headmistress of the school. It was an enjoyable and informative assembly.

INTRA-RPS WISDOM QUIZ To commemorate foundation day of the State of Haryana, RPS International School, Sector50 hosted an INTRA-RPS WISDOM QUIZ on Friday November 01. 2019. The Quiz aimed at creating awareness among the participants about the Vibrant Culture, History and Heritage of the State. The occasion was graced by the Academic Coordinator of RPSGOS, Mr. Vipin Sharma. Twenty seven enthusiasts (class VI - VIII) all RPS branches participated with full zeal and zest . The quiz competition was divided into several rounds including buzzer round, audio-visual round and rapid fire round to engage the students. The participants showcased their mental agility and presence of mind and handled variety of subjects confidently.

‘Personalized welcome of students after summer Break’

RPS International School, Sector 50 Gurugram buzzed with excitement and there was a vibgyoric ambience on Monday,8 July,2019 as the teachers welcomed the students after summer break. It was a moment to reverberate them with a sense of novelty, eagerness and aspiration. Ms Pranu led morning exercise emphasizing the importance of work out in students’ life. Ruchi Madan introduced the theme of special assembly. Afterward, a group of teachers chanted the Gayatri Mantra and covert ... ly taught them significance of spirituality that helps students in developing the concentration and memory. Ms Shruti and Ms Savita Bhardwaj facilitated them with ‘thoughts of the day’. Ruchi Madan introduced a musical drama depicting the theme which was enacted by Ms Pooja, Ms Dimple, Ms Shaoni, Ms Preeti and Mr Ravinder.
